Land.Luft – a closed circuit
Knowing where the meat comes from and having the quality in your own hands begins with the cultivation of grain and crops on our own agricultural land. These are mixed together to form special feed for the grazing animals, which is suitable for the individual animal species and specially adapted to them. Once the day of an animal´s slaughter comes, the mobile slaughterhouse is pulled out to the pasture. Thus, the animals are not transported to a slaughterhouse. Instead the butchering takes place right on the pasture, in a trusted and stress-free environment for the animals.
As a result, the animals are completely relaxed until the end, which has a positive effect on meat quality. The animals are further disassembled and processed in our farm´s own butchery.
"It's all in the combination", which is how this exceptional organic farm distinguishes itself from other farms. And in the end, this is the key to this closed cycle: Good food, year-round free-range farming, stress-free slaughtering and further processing on site yield high-quality certified organic meat - and you can taste it.
